South Oaks Hospital Mural
Proud to share the new mural I donated to South Oaks Hospital, one of Northwell Health's dedicated behavioral health facilities on Long Island.
To Bring Joy to All
When I initially visited the facility, the walls were quite bare. As I am sure you could imagine, the artist and muralist in me knew I had to step in and help. I donated my artwork to fill the wall in their admitting room and hallways of the hospital. Today I got to see the unveiling of the wall and was so nicely greeted by the South Oaks staff. They told me a patient recently entered the hospital, uneasy and anxious with tears in their eyes, but upon stepping onto this room they were no longer crying. I hope my art can bring a sense of joy and comfort to children and adolescents when they need it most.

South Oaks offers a range of services for kids in need. Their mission is to improve the health of our community, which is only possible when we care for not only our physical health but also for our mental, behavioral and emotional well-being.
